Fresh delivery every Monday · Dispatched shortly after arrival

Fresh Deliveries Every Week

Fresh produce arrives from Asia every Monday and is dispatched as soon as possible after delivery to help it reach you at its freshest. Orders placed later in the week may be held for the following week’s shipment. Appearance, size and ripeness may naturally vary.

Fresh young tamarind (มะขามอ่อน), known as makham on, has firm pale flesh with an intensely tart, fruity flavour. Unlike ripe brown tamarind, it delivers a fresher and sharper sourness suited to spicy relishes and savoury dishes.

How to use: Rinse and chop or pound the young pods according to the recipe. Combine with chillies, garlic and seasoning to make nam prik makham on, or use small amounts to bring natural sourness to Thai curries, sauces and relishes. Adjust gradually, as its tartness can be powerful.

Storage: Keep refrigerated

Country of Origin: Thailand

Please note: Fresh produce arrives every Monday and is dispatched shortly after delivery for maximum freshness. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before ordering.

When will my fresh produce be dispatched?

Our fresh fruit and vegetables arrive every Monday. We aim to dispatch orders shortly after delivery so they reach you as fresh as possible. Orders placed later in the week may be held for the following Monday’s shipment.

Can I request delivery by a specific date?

If you need your order before a particular date, please contact us before ordering and we’ll advise you on availability and dispatch times.

Will my produce look exactly like the photographs?

As fresh produce naturally varies, its size, colour, shape and ripeness may differ slightly from the product images.

What happens if an item is unavailable?

Availability can change due to seasonal supply or import delays. If an item is unavailable, we’ll contact you and arrange a refund rather than substitute it without permission.

What if my produce arrives damaged or in poor condition?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs, and we’ll be happy to help.

What happens if my order contains fresh produce and other items?

If your order contains products with different availability dates - such as fresh produce, Thai desserts or pre-order items - we will normally dispatch the entire order together once everything is available. The item with the latest availability will determine the dispatch date. If you need other items sooner, please place separate orders or contact us before ordering. Additional postage may apply to split deliveries.

Can I return fresh fruit or vegetables?

Because fresh produce is perishable, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns once an order has been dispatched. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described. UK guidance confirms that perishable products are exempt from ordinary change-of-mind returns, but faulty goods must still be remedied.

What if I miss my delivery?

Please check your delivery address carefully and monitor the courier tracking. As these items are perishable, we may be unable to refund produce that deteriorates because delivery could not be completed due to an incorrect address, no access, refusal of delivery or failure to collect the parcel promptly. This does not apply where the issue was caused by us or the courier.
