Pad Krapao (ผัดกะเพรา) is one of those dishes that comes together quickly once you have the right ingredients. We’ve gathered the key fresh produce, sauces and jasmine rice into one bundle, so you can get straight to cooking without having to track everything down separately.

Fresh holy basil is the heart of the dish, bringing its unmistakable peppery aroma, while red chillies add the heat. The combination of soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce and dark soy sauce gives the stir-fry its rich, savoury flavour, with fragrant jasmine rice ready to serve alongside it. You’ll also have sauces and rice left for future meals, making it a handy introduction to cooking more Thai food at home.

Your Pad Krapao Bundle includes:

Makes approximately 4–6 portions. The fresh holy basil is enough for one generous batch, while the sauces and 1kg bag of jasmine rice will stretch across several more meals. Simply top up the fresh ingredients and your preferred protein when you’re ready to make it again.

All you need to add is fresh garlic, cooking oil and your choice of minced pork, chicken, beef or a plant-based alternative. Finish it with a crispy fried egg if you like.
